The 2012 Toronto International Music Summit will feature some of the hottest independent, emerging artists in Toronto. ANASTASIA A – Genre: Pop **WINNER OF THE REVERBNATION – TORONTOIMS CONTEST**

Anastasia is not just a pop singer, she is also a songwriter working internationally writing and co-producing records for artists, Film & television placements. Currently collaborating with accomplished songwriter Vince Degiorgio(former VP of A&R at RCA Records in New York (BMG). ANASTASIA is currently working and submitting music placements globally with Multi-Platinum Award-winning music producer & composer Derek Brin. After landing the National Virgin Mobile billboard 09, she was plastered on billboards in every major city landed her exposure and multiple commercial print work.

Ana made top artist ten this year with the MOArtist competition held by EMI/Capital/VIRGIN Records  which is a nationwide artist search Run by Head A&R Fraser Hill EMI Music Canada has brought her a lot of attention of various Label reps like Warner, EMI and Universal. She just landed a deal with Family Channel/Disney and starts her Radio tour this summer!

Since her single release this Valentine’s Day, she performed her first Canadian Music Week showcase and landed two publishing deal opportunities which ended up taking her to the 2012 JUNOS where hot 89.99 named her “most talked about new artist at the JUNOS”. She recently performed her debut single “Kiss&Tell” at the Royal Ontario Musium at for the TFI25 Celebrity fashion show and is now ready to hit the stage at the TorontoIMS as the official Reverbnation contest winner!

“The One”, sat at #1 on the 93.7 WBLK Unsigned Hype Top Ten Countdown for four weeks in a row earning Luztono a WBLK R&B nomination for “Female Unsigned Hype R&B ARTIST OF THE YEAR”. The achievement of her first single landed her a spot on BET’s number 1 rated show 106 & Park “Wild Out Wednesday”. Luztono is the first unsigned Canadian female artist ever invited to perform on BET’s 106 & Park.

Susie’s album will be released on May 22! For her album, Susie worked with Juno Award winning producer, Roy Oommen, Grammy Nominee musician Pat Kilbride, and the notable drummer Mark Kelso who has shared the stage with acclaimed artists: Michael Buble, David Foster and Shania Twain.  The album includes three original songs: “Sing Your Song”, “Till the Morning Comes” and “Falling Down”, along with seven cover songs.

Currently, Susie’s music can be heard on Indie Castle Radio, Radio Crystal Blue, Women of Substance Radio and LA-based Indie104.  Most recently, Susie was selected as  the vocalist of the month  by an Advisor Board of the Top A&R Executives from Sony, EMI/Capitol Records, Producer for Jessica Simpson and Vocal Coach for Barbara Streisand. She will be featured on singeruniverse.com for a 1 year contract.

SOLID MAS – Genre: Hip Hop

Cooper Maden a.k.a. Solid Mas of Bankrush Entertainment has been making his name in the underground Canadian hip/hop circuit by writing, producing, and collaborating his way to the top. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, a producer’s producer and an emcee’s  emcee, Solid Mas released his first major mixtape in the spring ’09, titled “The Show Off”. 

Solid Mas also brought some of his friends to help out with support coming from famed-producers Rich Kidd (Drake, Saukrates) and Arthur McArthur (Drake “Uptown”, Lil Wayne “So Many Guns”), while up-&-coming R&B star JRDN lends his talents on one of the singles “Desperado”.   The rest of the album will be co-produced by label mate Memorecks and Solid Mas himself.

KemiKAL can easily be described as a versatile  young emcee and producer combo. He uses his wit and lyrical ability to paint a picture with every verse he writes.  This is evident when you listen to his first official mixtape release “It’s About Time”.  The short mixtape”It’s About Time”  will be released mainly to showcase KemiKAL’s lyrical capabilities. It also served as a pre-tape or sampler for his long awaited self produced project entitled “Elevator Music: Going Up”, which is set to release in the spring of 2012.
