Here Brandy sports a black and white patterned dress at the Clive Davis annual Pre-Grammy Gala, the industry event took place in February this year, 2013.

As she continues to certify her position in the music and entertainment industries Brandy lets everyone know that she is not going anywhere and is far from done!

Her longevity in the game, experience and continual vocal growth is displayed in her latest album ‘Two Eleven’ which features recent single ‘Wildest Dreams’, the powerful R&B ballad ‘Without You’ and Chris Brown collabo ‘Put It Down’, to name a few.

On the acting side of things Brandy appears on BET’s ‘The Game’ where she plays Chardonnay, the love interest of actor Coby Bell aka Jason Pitts in the show.

Tune in to Season 6 of ‘The Game’ to watch Brandy as waitress-turned-NFL wife Chardonnay Pitts. You can also catch new cast members Jay Ellis and Lauren London.

So we got a glimpse last month of Beyoncé in the Bahamas modelling pieces on a sunny beach as the new face of H&M’s summer 2013 campaign…

Well, new swimwear pics were recently released… The photos show Bey in yellow, black and tie-dye print bikini’s. The collection should be hitting stores and online in May and look out for the TV commercial.

The 2013 Grammy Awards took place earlier this year and aired live on February 10, 2013 on CBS. Rihanna shared inspiring words as she appeared in the first promo ad which trended the awards show #TheWorldIsListening campaign.

Some of the boss ladies that attended the event included Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys and Ashanti who all opted to wear black, however Rihanna shined bright in a long red dress on the red carpet.

But whose Grammy outfit was most impressive?… Did any of these ladies need to up their game?…

Tamar Braxton is getting her life no doubt… After massive success with her single ‘Love And War’ topping the iTunes charts, another season of reality tv show ‘Braxton Family Values’, numerous show appearances and live performances there seems to be no stopping this lady as she continues to chase her dreams.

And yes, Tamar (and let’s not forget Vince) is indeed pregnant with her first child, she recently attended the 2013 NewNowNext Awards at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. Other celebs that attended included Azealia Banks, Ciara and Fergie.

LOGO TV aired the annual awards on Monday April 15th where Hollywood gathered to celebrate the fan voted awards.

Tamar & Vince 2013

“The Logo NewNowNext Awards” are about celebrating today what will be trending next year. Tamar’s glitter gold, hooded ‘Lady Gaga’ style outfit may not be to everyone’s taste but at least she is keeping it classy and respectful considering she is pregnant in this pic…

Not sure about the head piece berries though, Tamar should have just left them berries at home… let’s not try this one again Tamar!

On another style note, Tamar kept it glam in a long white draped Marc Bouwer gown at the recent BET Celebration of Gospel 2013. Tamar sang her own powerful rendition of Walter Hawkins “Be Grateful” earning a standing ovation… Yes SHE did that!

Back in January, Unapologetic songstress Rihanna gave us all a Full Exposure to her 2013 Cover Story for her appearance in Complex’s February/March 2013 Issue.

With 7 different covers, 7 poses, 7 facial expressions, 7 outfits, 7 attitudes, 7 personas, 7 styles… Rihanna shows just how unapologetic she is for just being Rihanna.

According to Complex she projects the image of someone who doesn’t care what people think but knows just how far she has come with her successful career and how important her image is, especially to her fans.

Her freedom to be who she wants to be and occasional wild antics have not always worked in her favor however Rihanna still remains boss when it comes to her career and the bottom line is she is a major brand and heavily sought-after.

Rihanna is still young and relevant, she comes across as thick-skinned, fearless and not afraid to put her business out there in front of millions… Her fashion style is fierce and edgy and you see her keeping it real, not just with the public but with herself and we all know she is not going to apologize for staying true to herself!

More recently, a toned-down and almost make-up free Nicki Minaj covers ELLE magazine’s April 2013 issue!

With barely any make-up on and no pink lipstick, lashes, wigs or crazy costumes Nicki shared her personal views with the mag:

Nicki Minaj ELLE 2013 #1

On her Unzipped Elle shoot:

“When I saw myself with barely any makeup, it was such a… like, I’m so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it’s hard. I feel that it’s become a part of me.”

“To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol’ crazy lashes – you know, nothing – I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes.”

 On being bullied during childhood:

“I went through a lot of bullying early on, girls made my life a living hell. We had come to America from a different country. My brother and I had accents. It was very tough.

So I’ve always put up this wall, it was a self-defense mechanism growing up, because I was almost expecting people to attack me. And I still have it. It’s sad.”

 Advice on Ladies gaining respect:

“My advice to women in general: Even if you’re doing a nine-to-five job, treat yourself like a boss. Not arrogant, but be sure of what you want and don’t allow people to run anything for you without your knowledge.”

“You want everyone to know, Okay, I can’t play games with her. I have to do right by this woman. That’s what it’s all about.”

World domination goals:

“My goal in the beginning was to buy my mother a house. Now I realize, Okay, if I really focus and become a key player in business, then I can build an empire.”

“I’m thinking of a legacy that I can be proud of and wealth that my grandchildren can use to go to college. So world domination in terms of providing for my family is absolutely my goal.”
